This funny and touching family drama begins simply enough – an Italian family and their friends prepare to have their traditional Sunday dinner together. However, this week, it's different! Peppino, the patriarch, suspects his wife Rosa of infidelity; she is brooding because he spurned her cooking. Add a crusty grandfather, a formidable widowed aunt on the make for the family doctor, her mama's boy son, a liberated daughter, and before long, tempers flare as long-nursed grievances erupt, spewing hot ragu over everybody.
